Club championship rules
Club championship is open to all club members
From 2024 -
The first male OHR member in any of the Club championship races will receive 15 points, 2nd male OHR member 14 points, and so on down. All male OHR competitors will receive 1 point for a placing 15th or lower.
The first female OHR member in any of the Club championship races will receive 15 points, 2nd female OHR member 14 points, and so on down. All female OHR competitors will receive 1 point for a placing 15th or lower.
To qualify for a final Championship placing, runners must complete a minimum of 4 races in the series. If more races are completed then the 4 best results will be considered.
Prizes for - top male, top female and top handicap
RulesText += "Handicaps are worked out as follows:
- Initially it is your percentage on Scottish hill racing site - if you dont have a percentage you get the average percentage for the club (Split by Male and Female)
- The percentage is then updated with each club championship race(Since start 2022).The new percentage is a weighted average of all the previous percentages with the last race counting double the previous ones.
Prior to 2024 -
Male and Female points were not seperate, so it was 15 points for the first runner etc.
Handicap prize was introduced in 2022
Prior to 2016
20 points were awarded to the first runner and you needed to complete 6 races to qualify
