Finishing positions from 270 (?) starters were: 42nd Alayne 10h 7m (6th Lady out of 90!) 53rd Ron 10h 15m 82nd Davy 10h 43m 200th Charlie 12h 43m Great result from Alayne, Davy and Charlie on their ultra marathon debuts, and Ron knocked 70 minutes off last year’s time. Commiserations to Norrie who had to drop out. Dave Eiser was a member of the winning relay team which broke the course record by around 20 minutes! Davy’s secret: rice pudding, pints of milk, and 3 races in the week before…..and he still plans to do the Whangie…. Dave
